    4. Header

    Forms of violation of training and academic integrity as a motive for plagiarism. There are many forms of conduct that violate the standards and principles of academic integrity, including, but not limited to, the following acts and behaviors:

    • Cheating: From the transfer of the work of others and the unauthorized use of any notes, information, and materials in academic examinations or other tasks assigned to the trainee.
    • Plagiarism/Plagiarism: Quoting the phrases and works of others, and unauthorized use of intellectual and literary blogs or any information in any academic test, without referring to them as a reference.
    • Misuse of Academic Aid: A trainee exploits the work of a colleague who provides him with academic assistance in good faith, such as being quoted from a special report drawn up by the trainee or from an old test, without informing him.

    Fraud Prevention Procedures

    1. Detecting the violator of the academic controls approved at Maximus Academy: The administration records all available Internet data used by the trainee to access the electronic systems and verifies the trainee's entry from a place other than the user from it, thus revealing the trainee who resorts to the offices to perform activities and duties instead of them.
    2. The copy and paste feature is prohibited on the portals of the semester work, and the examination of repeated semester work that is not based on personal efforts of the trainees and take the necessary action about it.

    Exams

    Interns who violate the rules of the exam, in particular the obligation of the academic secretariat, may be asked to withdraw from the training. Trainees who fail to follow the necessary instructions while taking an exam will be subject to disciplinary action an exam, trainees are not allowed to communicate with each other. They are not allowed to refer to any books or papers, without the express permission of the authorized official.

    Disciplinary Measures for Violation of Probation

    1. Internal investigation is conducted to verify the accusations and determine the severity of the violation.
    2. Trainees are summoned to express their perspective and explain the situation from their point of view.
    3. The penalty may involve losing the grades obtained in the test or the cancellation of the test.

    Written Works

    The submission of any written work is the responsibility of the trainee. Interns must submit their work in person on time to the authorized official. Collaboration in the work of the program or in the completion of tasks is not permitted without the express permission of the authorized official. Interns should familiarize themselves with all systems involved in the available classroom and should also consult the authorized training and teaching officer regarding the preparation and submission of paperwork or research. Interns must obtain written permission from the authorized administrator before using the same research or other written work for more than one course. Interns who submit work without clear attribution will be subject to disciplinary action.

    Commitment to public morals and not practicing any irregular behavior. The Trainer must have no less than two years’ experience and hold a bachelor’s degree.

Regular attendance is crucial for a successful learning experience and ensures that trainees receive the maximum benefit from their training.

    2. Scope

    This policy applies to all trainees enrolled in programs and courses offered by Maximus Academy. It covers both in-person and virtual attendance, as well as any hybrid learning models.

    3. Roles and Responsibilities

    3.1 Trainer

    • Trainers are responsible for clarifying the importance of submitting the attendance link after completing the session.
    • Trainers are to provide the attendance link and QR code at the end of the session.

    3.2 Trainee

    • Trainees are responsible for submitting the attendance form after completing the session.

    3.3 Administrative Assistant

    • Responsible for extracting the data from the database and uploading the attendance sheets on Max360.
    • Update and close the course.

    3.4 Training Manager

    • Responsible for the implementation of this policy and monitoring to ensure compliance.

    4. Attendance Process

    Virtual attendance is equivalent to regular attendance, in addition to indicating the minimum provision of synchronous attendance hours (not less than 25%) when providing training in the asynchronous electronic mode or blended learning for programs whose duration exceeds a month.

    Maximus Academy notes the importance of attendance at distance training courses, and it is treated as face-to-face attendance. From this standpoint, please follow the following:

    • To obtain a certificate of attendance for the course, the trainee must commit to attending no less than (75%) seventy-five percent of the hours scheduled for the training course.
    • Virtual attendance is equivalent to face-to-face attendance, in addition to indicating the minimum number of hours of simultaneous attendance (at least 25%).
    • The login name for the educational course must be identical to the name registered in the electronic registration system.
    • Please download the training package files to review them before the training course/workshop through the link to the educational material sent in the registration message via text messages.
    • The microphone must be closed during the class and not opened except for participation only, and then closed again.
    • For optimal use, please attend the course via computer.

    Logging Attendance:

    Trainees are responsible for accurately logging their attendance through the designated attendance tracking system. This includes both in-person sign-ins and virtual attendance confirmation.

    Virtual Attendance:

    For virtual sessions, trainees must log in on time and actively participate to be considered present. Various virtual attendance tracking tools may be utilized.

    Excused Absences

    Requests for excused absences (due to illness, emergencies, etc.) must be communicated to the designated point of contact in advance, if possible. Maximus Academy reserves the right to request supporting documentation.

    Minimum Attendance Requirements:

    • Trainees are expected to meet the minimum attendance requirements outlined in the course syllabus. Failure to meet these requirements may result in academic consequences, including but not limited to reduced grades or dismissal from the program.

    Makeup Sessions:

    Maximus Academy may provide options for makeup sessions or alternative learning opportunities for trainees who miss classes due to excused absences. Details will be communicated by the instructor or program coordinator.
