Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) is part of our Terms and Conditions (“Legal Terms”) and should therefore be read and understood alongside our main Terms and Conditions (https://www.maximusacademy.com/termsandconditions).
If you do not agree with these Legal Terms, please refrain from using our Services. Your continued use of our “Services” (website, services, content, or interact with us) implies acceptance of these Legal Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.
Please carefully review this Acceptable Use Policy which applies to anyone and everyone using our Services:
- Uses of our Services as defined in the Legal Terms
- Website, forms, materials, comments, posts, and all other content related to our Skills Training Services (“Content”)
We operate, as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”).
Legal Compliance
End-users of our Services must comply with all applicable laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including:
- E-Commerce Law (Royal Decree No. M/126): Governs online transactions, advertising, consumer rights, and merchant obligations.
- Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL): Regulates data collection, processing, and transfer, requiring a lawful basis (e.g., consent, performance of a contract, legal obligation, or legitimate interest) and secure handling.
- Anti-Cyber Crime Law (Royal Decree No. M/17): Prohibits unauthorized access, data breaches, online fraud, and dissemination of harmful content.
- CST Regulations for Providing Digital Content Platform Services (where applicable): May mandate registration/licensing and user-protection obligations for in-scope digital content platforms; where our Services fall within scope, we comply with those requirements.
Acceptable Use
End-users must use the Skills Training Service platform in a lawful, ethical, securely and respectful manner. Acceptable uses include:
Age
- The Services is intended for end-users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Services.
Using Our Services
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and transactional orders to avail Skills Training services.
- Create secure password which should be a minimum of 9 characters and should contain at least one letter, number and special character as well as uppercase and lowercase characters.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and report any suspicious activity.
- Use up-to-date browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge etc.) for secure access and best experience.
- Logout of your session or account when you have finished.
- Training courses should only be booked with the account holder’s valid payment method.
Support Services
- Avail support services for help and support on our Services.
- Only communicate with customer support for legitimate inquiries and help.
Prohibited Activities
- Using the Services in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to impersonate another user, person or use the username of another user to avail our Services.
- Deception, defraud, or mislead us or end-users of our Services, especially in any attempt to obtain end-user account information such as user usernames, passwords or OTP information.
- Make any unauthorized use of the Services, including collecting usernames and/or email addresses of end-users by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email, or creating user accounts by automated means or under false pretenses.
- Bypass, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Services, including features that prevent or restrict the use or copying of any Content or enforce limitations on the use of the Services and/or the Content contained therein.
- Make improper use of our Services, including our support services or submit false reports of abuse or misconduct.
- Engage in any automated use of the Services, such as using scripts to send messages, or using any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.
- Use the Services as part of any effort to compete with us or otherwise use the Services and/or the Content for any revenue-generating endeavor or other commercial activities than our Services.
- Annoy, intimidate, or threaten any of our employees when engaged in providing Services to you.
- Copy or adapt the Services’ software, including but not limited to Flash, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, or other code.
- Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) viruses, Trojan, or other material, including excessive use of capital letters and spamming (continuous posting of repetitive text), that interferes with any party’s uninterrupted use and enjoyment of the Services or modifies, impairs, disrupts, alters, or interferes with the use, features, functions, operation, or maintenance of the Services.
- Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) any material that acts as a passive or active information collection or transmission mechanism, including without limitation; web bugs, cookies, or other similar devices (sometimes referred to as spyware or passive collection mechanisms (PCM)).
Breaching this Policy
We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of this Acceptable Use Policy through your use of our Services. When a breach of this policy has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate.
Failure to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a material breach of the Legal Terms, and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:
- Issue of a warning to you.
- Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our Services
- Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by you to our Services.
- Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach.
- Further legal action against you.
- Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary and if there is a serious risk or threat to our Services or Public Safety.
We exclude liability for actions taken in response to breaches of this acceptable use policy. The responses described in this policy are not limited, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.
Changes to Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy was published on 10 November 2025.
We reserve the right to update the Acceptable Use Policy at any time.
